US Senator, Chris Murphy, of Connecticut visited the Hedaya
International Centre of Excellence for Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) in
Abu Dhabi today
Hedaya's
Board Chairman, Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, said that the US senator's visit was
part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen the strategic partnership with the
United States.
Maqsoud
Kruse, the Executive Director of Hedaya, briefed Senator Murphy and his
accompanying delegation on the centre’s goals, mission, vision, and
achievements, which included initiatives and activities in the areas of
dialogue and collaboration, training and capacity building and research and
analysis.
