Emirates tourism network expands by leaps and bounds




DUBAI -- Emirates, a global connector of people and places, renewed its individual global marketing agreements with the Tourism Boards of South Africa, Seychelles and Mauritius. 

The three agreements aim to utilise Emirates’ growing global network to further boost inbound tourism to the Ocean Islands of Seychelles and Mauritius as well as South Africa.

Under the extended Memorandum of Agreements (MoAs), Emirates together with the Seychelles, Mauritius and South Africa Tourism Boards will put into effect a range of joint marketing activities focusing on promoting the three destinations in various regions

The Agreements were signed by Orhan Abbas, Emirates Senior Vice President, Commercial Operations for Latin America, and Thulani Nzima, South African Tourism Chief Executive Officer; Sherin Naiken, Chief Executive Officer of the Seychelles Tourism Boardand; and Dr. Karl Mootoosamy, Director, Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority, in presence of Alain St. Ange, Minister of Tourism and Culture of the Seychelles; on the sidelines of the Arabian Travel Market 2015.

"By joining forces with each of the tourism body we are enhancing our efforts to increase the visibility of South Africa, Seychelles and Mauritius to support the tourism industry and further grow leisure traffic into these three popular countries," said Abbas. "I’m confident that our partnership with the Tourism Boards of South Africa, Seychelles and Mauritius, will attract global travellers to enjoy and discover the many and varied attractions that each gateway has to offer."
