The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation has distributed more
than 200 Ramadan aid packages in the Governorate of El Kef, located in the
Northwest of Tunisia, out of a total 2,000 food baskets which will be provided
by the foundation to Tunisia during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
Taher Matmati, Governor of El Kef, praised the Foundation's initiative of providing assistance to needy families in poor areas in Tunisia.
The Foundation team also distributed 40 food aid baskets to needy families in the Tunisian town of Jerissa.
The team's visit comes within the framework of a series of tours to distribute 2,000 Ramadan aid packages to a number of needy families in the north-west of Tunisia in collaboration with the Tunisian Union of Social Solidarity. –End-
