NUREMBERG--The
Emirati inventor, Ahmed Abdullah Majan, known as the Emirates' Edison,
collected a gold award for his ten innovations during an honouring ceremony for
winners at the 67th iENA, International Trade Fair, Ideas - Inventions - New
Products, which was recently held at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre in
Germany.
Ahmad
Majan dedicated his award to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al
Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin
Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the
UAE Armed Forces, thanking them for their constant encouragement and care for
the march of innovation and invention in the UAE.
The
UAE inventor also extended his thanks to H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin
Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive
Council, for his great and continuous encouragement, saying that H.H. always
follows up his innovations and provides advice with respect to a new world of
innovation and invention.
Speaking
on the occasion, Majan called on young men and girls of the UAE to continue
their hard work in the world of innovation, to have patience and perseverance
in their initiatives in the world of invention, and to translate the wise
guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to continue
brainstorming and make more effort to achieve their goals in this field to
develop their skills and increase their scientific knowledge, as well as to
develop their practical experience to reach the top global position and impress
the world with UAE inventions.
