Flying high

ABU DHABI -- Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has won four coveted accolades at the fourth edition of the Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance, ADAEP, 2015.
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi, the awards were presented at a glittering ceremony held last night at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
The awards, presented by H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, were attended by top government officials, Hamad Al Shamsi, Vice Chairman of Etihad Airways Board, and members of Etihad Airways senior management.
More than 50 Abu Dhabi government-owned entities competed for the awards, organized by the Office of the Abu Dhabi Excellence
