His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President
and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has visited the site where a fire broke
out in The Address Downtown hotel, Dubai on December 31st.
Sheikh Mohammed, who was accompanied by H.H.
Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai,
praised emergency services for their efficient work in putting out the fire -
which did not claim any lives - thanking firefighters, rescue and ambulance
teams for their speedy response and for handling the incident professionally.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed expressed his confidence in UAE
citizens and their ability to handle emergencies and crises.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed met members of Dubai Civil Defence,
Dubai Police and Dubai Ambulance that participated in managing the crisis and
thanked them for their dedication and professionalism.
